The Cathechist

In the atrium, the catechist is not a teacher; the only Teacher is Christ himself.   Rather, the catechist’s role is to introduce the child to the faith through  the Good Shepherd, XXX.  and provide the care and guidance needed for a child’s faith to be lived and to grow.

Presentations in the atrium is a shared religious experience for both adults and children. The catechist listens to and ponders on the Christian message as proclaimed in Scripture. He/She presents to the children.
